Ahmedabad, India, February 22, 2007 - Real estate developer Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd has announced that the Company has signed a MOU with the Government of Gujarat for development of SMART CITY-Integrated Township at Village Godhavi & Garodia, Taluka Sanand District Ahmedabad on about 400 acres of land at an investment of Rs 2000 crore.

The Integrated Township will have High End Villas, Apartment facing Golf course, Hospitals, Business Towers, Hotel, International School, Helipad, Country Club and Shopping Malls & Multiplex Theatres.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Company and Government of Gujarat (GOG) (represented through Gujarat Urban Development Company Ltd) was signed by Mr. Dipak G Patel, Vice Chairman & Whole-Time Director of the Company and Mr. K Srinivas, Managing Director of GUDC at Ahmedabad in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

During the Vibrant Gujarat Urban Summit 2007 Government of Gujarat has invited investment from the real estate developers to develop townships, participate in the construction & management of Utilities in the State of Gujarat and facilitate implementation of such projects / activities.
